My next door neighbor likes to keep his porch light on all night. it shines into my back yard. Not no more.

Oar
I started making this oar in about 2007. I figured it was time to finish it off. It is man sized and made out of Oak, Maple and Mahogany. All the joints are glued together with biscuits.

Segmented bowl
This is my first attempt at making a complicated segmented bowl. I have made some simple ones in the past, but this one requires more steps and more time. This is maple, walnut and oak.
Once glued together and sanded flat, concentric rings are cut out.
Here is what it looks like before the gluing process.
Using the tailstock on my lathe as a vice.
Here is the finished product.
Morning Glories
These are some flowers I grew by my shop door. They didn't bloom all summer long and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. As soon as the temperatures started cooling I got flowers.

trip to Mackey Idaho Sept. 22nd and 23rd
This is at Magic Reservoir
The Sheep Bridge. This bridge is used when they move the sheep from the high country to the low country in fall. It is only about three feet wide and kinda scary to walk across.
I don't remember the name of this creek but it was crystal clear, unlike the Big Wood river which is full of ash and is the color of dark coffee.
A rattlesnake we found sunning hisself in the middle of the road going to Fish Reservoir.
I think this was in Arco Idaho.
