Twirly Fish

One year I made a whole bunch of twirly fish to give away for Christmas. This is a picture of where I hung them to dry after I sprayed them with shellac.

Falling down building

This is a building that I have been watching fall down for years. It is such a cool building and a shame that it is being neglected. I bet at one time it was a dairy farm that was up and running and making some family a good living. If you want to know where it is, send me an email and I will tell you or,,, you can email me and tell me where it is.

Fixin The Trailer

This was a good day after work. Me, Harv, Rich and Josh fixing the trailer so it can haul three four wheelers. A few beers, a little fun with the dogs and some serious welding. What more could a guy ask for?

Alexi builds fences

Alexi is great help when it comes to building fences. He is especially interested in helping dig fence post holes. His motto is:
NO POST IS SET BEFORE AN EARTHWORM CHECK!

Alexi

Not only is Alexi a ferrett fetcher, but hes a snake snatcher also. He sniffed this snake in the bushes and would not give up on catching him until he got him. He played with it for a few minutes and then let it run off, only to be caught another day.

making a bowl

I hope don't bore you with this one but I wanted to show all the steps in making a bowl from a rough piece of wood. This is a piece of cedar.

The first step is to cut out a round piece from the rough wood and mount it to the lathe.

Now we create the bottom of the bowl.

Then we make the top of the bowl.

A little sanding, burn in your name and date.

A coat or two of shellac

A couple coats of wax and some serious buffing and you have a completed bowl.

Apologies

To all my friends, family and fans, I apologize for not adding to this blog in such a long time. I only use my work computor and it has taken the proverbial DUMP. I couldn't get anyone to fix it at work, and not being able to choke the shit out of those who don't or wont do their job, I finally just went and bought myself a new computor. Hopefully I can keep adding pictures and such to this blogsite again. Thanks for being patient and if you want, you can email me at my new personal address.

Thanks for being one of the above.

Richard
