Here is a portable chipper making chips out of trees. These are destined for Ponderay Newsprint in Usk Washington. This was taken about two miles off of Hiway 2 about 30 miles east of Libby Montana. On the right of the machine is the grapple that puts the treees into the chipper and on the left is the chips coming out of the machine. The bark and needles come out on the ground in the middle of the chipper.
