Segmented bowl

This is my first attempt at making a complicated segmented bowl. I have made some simple ones in the past, but this one requires more steps and more time. This is maple, walnut and oak.

Once glued together and sanded flat, concentric rings are cut out.

Here is what it looks like before the gluing process.


Using the tailstock on my lathe as a vice.
